About This Role

Suarez Medical is expanding its psychiatric services for motor vehicle accident and personal injury patients across NYC. We have the referral pipeline — we need the psychiatrists. No-fault psychiatric care is a high-demand niche. MVA patients frequently present with trauma-related psychiatric complaints: acute stress disorder, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances directly tied to their accidents. This is meaningful clinical work with a well-defined patient population and an established documentation framework already in place.

What You Will Do

Evaluate no-fault MVA patients for psychiatric conditions arising from or exacerbated by their accidents

Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments

Provide documentation supporting the patient's personal injury case where clinically appropriate

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

Collaborate with pain management physicians and support staff

Requirements

Active NY medical license with psychiatry board certification or eligibility
Comfort working in a no-fault/personal injury clinical environment
Ability to produce thorough psychiatric evaluations and maintain documentation standards
DEA registration
